Donal McSweeney

Donal McSweeney is a PGA Professional and is responsible for the delivery of the coaching at the Golf Academy at Limerick County Golf Club and at Unigolf Club in Limerick. Native of Charleville in County Cork, in 1993 moved to London and spent three years studying a HND in Golf Studies, which included playing, teaching and club fitting. As a player he achieved many tournament successes and has many course records, the lowest being 63.

Donal is an expert in the use of video analysis technology and currently is working with golfers at all levels of the game including professionals, Nationally ranked players, Provincial players, and has coached and club fitted the Munster Ladies and Girls teams form 2002 to 2007. He is aso the Limerick County Coach for the Golfing Union of Ireland.

Donal is a qualified club fitter, with 10 years experience and is the official Taylormade Club Fitter to the Munster Rugby Team and provides some of them with coaching.
